#6 The Bushman in Abidjan

During our stay in Abidjan, we discovered the Bushman Café Hotel!

A hotel, café, and restaurant all in one—this spot in Cocody is a must-visit. Alain and Pascale, collectors of African art, share their collection and invite us on a journey.

Guided tour with Alain!

We climb the hotel staircase and come across some huge rattan pendant lights.

At the top of the stairs, you'll find the famous rooftop with its outdoor dining area and covered café. In addition to the decor and atmosphere, the food is superb—we highly recommend it!

A rooftop café, surrounded by paintings, woven pieces, and other decorative items handpicked for the space.

Go down the second flight of stairs to tour the hotel on the first floor.

Headdresses of Nigerian kings.

And finally, the most beautiful piece, which really moved us... And for good reason: old batik presses.

A place worth visiting to discover its treasures, which have been collected over the years.
